10 days ago I suddenly had difficulty with my balance, staying alert, not crying, difficulty going down stairs, retrieving words, answering people quickly and significant weakness in my right hand. I have a history of depression and migraines. I started antidepressants a few days later. I am slightly better every day but honestly, I don t feel like myself and my balance is not great. I also fatigue suddenly and almost shut down mentally with normal social interaction. I also had difficulty with judging distances-I couldn t drive for the first four days. Still have to really concentrate when driving and merging on the highway is still complicated.(I m normally a great driver) My therapist insisted on Friday that I sign so she could speak to my general practitioner and made an appt for me tomorrow. She says she thinks more than depression is going on and since I have been on Wellbutrin before and it agreed with me, she is very concerned that something else is going on. Could I have had a stroke?
