What Causes Fatigue And Headache?

I experience nagging low level headaches almost daily. I am often fatigued and can sleep for 12 hours. I travel a lot and can retire at 8:30 in the hotel. CT scan shows nothing. Recent physical was all as expected. Have an active sex life so testosterone is good. Why such fatigue?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

Fatigue is a very non-specific symptom which can have many different causes such as anemia, infections, liver and kidney dysfunction, low thyroid function, depression etc. So investigations are needed to search for the cause starting with some routine screening blood tests like complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood glucose, liver and kidney function, electrolyte panel, thyroid function. Depending on the results it will be considered which direction to go further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olsi Taka,
