What Causes Fast Heart Beats?

Hi I'm Ginet-84 for about week now. I have noticed that my heart beats very fast for at night (even when my son coughs) and during day time, feels uncomfortable when working. When I do a very small job, like sweeping, I feel like I have walked up on a hill.
Is this caused by the medicine?

Hello, Does your heart beat fast regularly or irregularly? Is there any shortness of breath,on walking or even at rest; dizziness, associated with it?
R u on any medications?
Have a physical exam with gp and get an ECG done ...along with a CBP to r/o various causes of palpitations ..
