What Causes Fast Heart Beat Followed By Flash Of Light In Vision?
Hello, today at work I experienced a brief increase in heart rate that lasted a couple seconds, followed by a quick flash of light in my eyes. Is this something to be concerned about? I have felt fine the rest of the day, and this is the first time I have experienced this.
Hi welcome to HCM I understand your query and concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of Hypertension.Get your blood pressure monitored immediately. If your blood pressure is greater than 130/90 ,you should go to your doctor immediately.Drugs like Amlodipine will be helpful. Also get investigations like ECG,2 dimensional echocardiography of your heart, lipid profile as a part of routine screening of your heart.Accelerated hypertension should be treated immediately or else will lead to paralytic stroke or transient ischemic attack in the brain leading to brain death.Consult your cardiologist for expert management. Post your further queries if any, Thank you.
