What Causes Fainting With Skipping Heart Beats And Severe Headaches?

I am having pounding and skipping heart beats, severe headaches (all over), dizziness and nausea. I take lithium, effexor xr and ambien. I have actually fainted twice in the last two weeks. Could this be one of my meds or is this something I should see my primary doctor about?

Hi.thanks for your query.the symptoms in your case can be largely attributed to the use of lithium.it can cause frequent heart rythm disturbances..I suggest a modification of your current drugs and doses.I also strongly recommend that you undero tests like ECG,TWO D ECHO,chest xray, urine examination.and MOST IMPORTANT SERUM.LITHIUM LEVELS.THESE TESTS GIVE AN accurate assesment of your underlying symptom complex which is collectively referred to as "STOKE ADAMS SYNDROME".I mandate you get your test and meet your treating doctor at the earliest.thanh you.
