What Causes Eye Floaters With History Of Cataract Surgery?

I have 1 tiny and 1 medium floater in my right eye. I see very occasional sparkles such as when I sneeze hard and/or twist head/neck suddenly. I have had both eye cataracts removed more than 18 months ago and no issues there. I just had my annual eye exam (retinal specialist who did my cataracts) and he assured me that my significant floater is vitreous(sp?) fluid and not to worry unless I see many sparkles regularly. What am I experiencing; what is this fluid; and what say you overall? Thank you! :)
