What Causes Eye Discomfort After Wearing Contact Lens?

I wear contact lenses and yesterday after wearing them for the majority of the day, I felt slight discomfort in my left eye.. I took them out and then it felt like something was in my eye, I rinsed my eye out with water, but everytime I close my eye it feels irratated

it is dry eye syndrome. tear film spread is stopped causing dry eye. this resulted in corneal erosion also may lead to corneaabraison or even ulcer.remedy is to discontinue contact lens, put on specs which was recommended earlier and apply artificial tear eydrop several time
