What Causes Eye Dehydration After Using Eye Drop?

I had an eye exam today. Drops were put in both eyes. but later in the day my left eye which my doctor said is weaker than right is dehydrated which my be the cause of weekness. My prescription was adjusted with my right eye staying with -2.50 and my right now -1.75. I can see but the pain in my eye, not from the contacts just that when I put drops in it they burned like the eye has a cut in it. What could be the cause. I have also been putting warm compresses on that eye.

there is nothing like eye dehydrated. there is variation of power in contact and specs. contact is less being nearer to cornea. if you are alwaysusingcontact lens it may cause dry eye. leading tocornealerroison. that may burn on putting drops. you should remove the contact lens whilegoingtobed. now apply artificial tear eye drop. youaremyopic, one eye power is morethen other. this is normal. get your cornea examined by eye doctor to rule out any erosion or abrasion.
