What Causes Extremely Sticky Stools?

I have extremely sticky stools that are incomplete and hard to wipe clean. Could this be caused by dysbiosis, yeast overgrowth or parasites? My father had parasites a few years back and I've been suffering with this for a long time. Changing the amount of dietary fibre hasn't made a difference nor has water intake changes.

Hi,

Yes, you are right, having extremely sticky stools is related to:
- dysbiosis
- yeast overgrowth
- parasites

You can do:
- culture of stool for candida
- examination of stool for ova/parasites
- changes in your diet (lass fatty/oily foods)

Hope it was of help!
