What Causes Extremely Painful Swollen Labia Minora?

Hello, I just woke up today to an extremely red and swollen labia minora on my right side. I have extreme pain when wiping after urinating and what almost looks like a pimple where my labia meets the clitoris hood. I've had pain here before recently but it's always gone away quickly and never been this bad. I also have a history of eczema and my hands have been badly flaring up over the past few days. Don't know if you need to know that but figured I'd give you an idea of what I've been dealing with.

hi.

noted history of pain associated with pimple like lesion over your labia minora. based from your description, it may be a case of folliculitis, which usually happens after shaving or when a hair is accidentally pulled out, and the hair follicle gets inflamed then subsequently infected. it is best if you consult with a doctor for physical examination and clinical evaluation of the lesion, especially if the lesion is persistent and the symptoms are not subsiding. management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
