What Causes Extreme Numbness In Lower Extremities?

Ok my lower extremities are numb. I don t know what to do. I don t know if I have to pee or if I need to have a bowel movement because I can t feel anything. My Legs and feet feel like they Are asleep. When I touch my legs I can t feel them. This is the second day. Not sure whether I need to go to the ER or call my doctor in the morning

Thank you for contacting healthcare magic.
I would advice you to get screened for diabetes mellitus. Get your blood sugar fasting and random (post-prandial) checked to rule out diabetes mellitus. Secondly, it can be some lumbar disc compression that causes numbness of lower limbs. Neurologist might advice you MRI lumbosacral spine. Consult a neurologist. Meanwhile take Tab. methycobal once daily.
