What Causes Extreme Fluctuations In Blood Pressure Levels?

I am 76 have been taking blood pressure medicine for years now had to get off my medicine my blood pressure has dropped sometimes in the teens this morning it was 116 over 65 my heart rate was 66 I had taken half of metoprolol 25 mg last night. could something else be wrong. I am glad it is down but want to know if something could be wrong?

Hi,

If you are on blood pressure medication, dropping to teens is really good. Don't stop the medicine by yourself without any supervision. It may shoot up, it will be detrimental then.
