What Causes Extra Fluid In Baby S Brain During Pregnancy?
My 31 year old daughter is at the start of her 8th month of her first pregnancy. She is having a follow-up ultrasound tomorrow that was ordered this past Tuesday. Her first ultrasound was 8-11-11 and came back with extra fluid showing on our grandbaby s brain. It seems if this were very serious the additional test would have been ordered asap instead of waiting over a month before even informing my daughter. What questions would be most helpful for my daughter to ask her doctor tomorrow?

in my option the excess water in brain is called as hydrocephalus
this is due to excess fluid secreation in brain or due to obstruction in out flow of fluid from brain
the most important things need to know are
1 is there any tumour
2 possibility of torch group of infection
3 is there any congenital mal formation of brain and any other organ abnormality
4 chance of viability of baby
