My period was two weeks late, when it started it was normal, dark red with some clots and it lasted about 5 days and started to stop then I started gushing bright red blood, it has been bright red for 4 days now, I go through a tampon about every hour, sometimes when I pull the tampon out there is blood that just drips into the toilet inbetween inserting the new one. There is no pain, a little discomfort when a blood clot is passing. My period is going on 9 days now.
