What Causes Exhaustion And Body Tremors While Taking Tikosyn?
My husband experienced severe side effects from flecanide. He took it for 6 months before realizing this was the problem...he suffered multiple side effects. He has been off the flecanide since July 12th....he continues to improve ,however, this drug did a number on his nervous system. He is now on Tikosyn... ..My question...how long can one expect to experience exhaustion and tremors.as well as other side effects...or could this be from the Tikosyn. My husband was a healthy man until starting the meds. He has had two bouts with Afib .the first in Jan and the other in August. He is scheduled for an Ablation on Oct. 20th...and hopefully will be able to get off medicines eventually.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have exhaustion and body tremors while taking Tikosyn . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query peripheral neuropaathy , diabetes , low blood iron , dehydration and panic attack . But the symptoms are not known to caused by tikosyn as its side effects . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination. Doctor will take history or order blood test . Doctor may prescribe iron supplement and ORS . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for diabetes or cardiologist for heart problems or neurologist for nerve problem . For now take proper rest and keep your self hydrate .
