What Causes Excessive Weight Gain And Diarrhea?

Concerns unanswered:( . A non drinker or medicines. 46 yf I was in Hospital last year for pancreatitis and gallstones. Admitted 22 days last year for elevated enzymes after surgery. Monitored every week for 2months post recovery. Labs continues to be elevated for my ast alt. Since October I have gained 40lbs and digestive problems of diarrhea to date. Last week had same pain from urinary and bowel issues. Had pain in upper right under ribs raising to back. Urine very slow in ams. I went to er and results continue to be elevated. And thoughts Glucose 112 Total bill 1.2 ast 50 Alt 50 Total all phos 122 Globulin 4.4 Albumin globulin ratio 0.8

Aside from the hormonal changes of menopause, women diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) may also experience weight gain. Hormonal changes in your middle years can also cause your metabolism to slow down, leading to weight gain. Cushing's syndrome. increased cortisol (stress hormone) production.
