What Causes Excessive Thirst During Menstruation?
Hi Doc. I just want to know what cause thirstness when menstruating..I personally drink a lot of water at any other given time.A few days prior to my period and during my period I seem to have this never ending thirst..What causes that.? thank you in advance.

During periods, you experience hormonal fluctuations and a bloated belly. Drinking at least 9 to 10 glasses of water a day during your period helps in fighting the bloatedness as it flushes waste out of your system. So, the thirst is completely normal.
