What Causes Excessive Sweating?

My father is 76 year old and sweat more he is otherwise healthy,active and fit.His persiperation leaves yellow stain on clothes.He perspire more even when he was in his fifties.He is strict vegeterian and does not smoke or drink alchohol.Is there any thing to worry?

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It appears to hyperhidrosis and is due to overactive sweat glands. As it is present since a long time, there is no reason to worry.
2. However, as he is perspiring a lot, he needs to take plenty of fluids to keep is hydration balance.
3. He can use anti-perspirants. Avoid any medications, as they have multiple side effects and at this age could be dangerous. Not to worry.
