What Causes Excessive Sweating?

Good Afternoon Doctors, I turned 51 years old this past June. I m starting to have sweating on face and neck. It last about 45 seconds, 3 times a day. Sometimes I m awaken in the middle of the night, dripping wet when sweat. I check my BP twice a day, this morning it was 122/72 this afternoon 118/77. Thank You for you time;) Talisa Lucas YYYY@YYYY

Hello Talisa,

Before I answer your query, may I presume that you are nearing menopause or have reached menopause.
This most probably is the sweating that often occurs with the change of the hormonal status. You may in addition have other symptoms like hot flushes, lack of energy and mood changes.
Your blood pressure readings are absolutely normal.
If you have further queries, I am available.
