What Causes Excessive Sweating After Taking Steroid Shot For Croup?

Hello, My 9 month old was diagnosed with croup last night at ER. They gave her a shot of steroids and we have had the humidifier 24/7 . She continues to sweat profusely . No fever , is this a side effect of steroid shot ? I also have been feeling crappy - headache, no fever, body aches and congestion. Small cough . Could I have gotten croup too?
