What Causes Excessive Sweating After Having Implanon Implant?
I have excessive sweating since Ive had the implanon implant put in. its so severe that i sweat through my clothes in just a few minutes after putting them on. i have also not changed my eating style, which is healthy, and i go to the gym 5 times a week (cardio and weight training). ive gained over 25 pounds and cant lose it. can this be from the implant?
Implanon has reported side effects like: - Changes in your menstrual periods - Vaginal itching and discharge - Acne - Mood changes - Weight gain - Menstrual cramps - Nausea - Stomach pain - Breast tenderness - Hot flashes - Dizziness - Flu-like symptoms - Sore throat Also weight gain is because of the prevention of ovulation due to hormones released from the Implanon. However this can be overcome by lifestyle changes- diet, exercises.
