What Causes Excessive Sweating After A Tonsillectomy?

30 year old daughter with Di George started having sweating problems after a bout with tonsillitis and tonsillectomy 3 years ago. She wears shorts and tank tops around the house all winter. We live in northern mn. She has seen Endocrinologists , cardiologists, and a geneticist they are unable to solve the mystery so far. We would welcome any ideas.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your daughter is having excessive sweating .
My response to your question is as follows.

These symptoms are not related to tonsillectomy.
Excessive sweating can occur normally also and this can be genetically determined.
In case of abnormal excessive sweating we need to rule out metabolic conditions.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for any further questions and I will be happy to answer and assist you.

Thank you
With regards
