NEWBORN IS OVERLY SLEEPY, ISNT INTERESTED IN EATING AND WHEN TRYIN TO FEED NEWBORN GAGS CONSTANTLY AND NO NUTRITION IS ACCOMPLISHED. VAGINAL DELIVERY, BUT SHE WAS PUSHED THROUGH THE CANAL FAST AND WAS A MECONIUM STAIN BIRTH. BABY IS NOT IN ANY RESPIRATORY DISTRESS. WHY ISNT SHE WANTING TO EAT AND GAGGING ON EVERYTHING?

It's just that some infant prefer to sleep more and it's pretty normal. As your infant having no signs of respiratory problems you need not worry.

Burping after every feed is just to avoid any gastric problems. Breast milk is necessary to maintain faster growth. As the age advances your worries will reduce.
