What Causes Excessive Sleepiness And Appetite Loss In A Child?

My 4 yr old grandchild has been sleeping all day, has no fever, no appetite & complains of a headache. I have been waking her to take some liquids (water) periodically, but she hasn t had to use the bathroom, either. She & her sister both had flu symptoms about a week ago, with vomiting & diarrhea.
