What Causes Excessive Crying In A Toddler?

My 3 and a half month old baby boy has been crying for 2 days straight now! Driving me and his mama crazy! He cries when we try to feed him, he cries when we don t. He cries when we set him down, he cries when we pick him up. He just cries cries cries and cries some more! The only way to get a moments peace is to hold him close belly to belly and even then he ll only let his mama do that! Low appetite, he won t sleep for more than 10 minutes at a lick, he s barley eats, but he s not running a fever or anything at least not by the thermometer we ve got. No diarrhea no poop at all for that matter he hasn t had a movement in over a day. I don t know what in hell to do for him short of taking him to the emergency room ( which by the way, happens to be the worst one in the whole state of Kentucky). Is there anything we can do for him or is a trip to Butcher s (emergency room) in order? He s really making life miserable at the moment.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes definitely. Your husband may have good poisoning. You should ask him about previous dinner and lunch and possibly milk products and if vomiting started then visit physician as it may leads to dehydration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
