What Causes Excess Stomach Bloating And Lump Inside Stomach?

I have 2 questions...one of which is more concern than the other....the top of my stomach area (avove the 50 year old flab!) is extremely huge. Just one glass of water in the am or even a grapefruit will start the expansion. It gets to the point where I can t eat anymore as it feels like I ate a 4-course meal! The only relieve is gas pills in which the gas deflates my stomach a bit until everything I have eaten the day before and the current day is gone. I have had a cscan of my upper abdomen and did not show anything. I do however when I lie down and lift my head up I have a large lump in my stomach which I believe to be hernia. The pain at the end of my esophagus is excruciating and I cannot lean over. If I press on the area, I feel like I will throw up. Thanks and Good Luck! :)
