What Causes Excess Body Heating, Red Blotches And Headaches During Exercise?

Hi, my son is 10 years old and gets extremely overheated when he exercises. Within 20 minutes of running or playing a sport he is very discolored (red & white blotches), has a bad headache & feels very sick & fatigued. He s strong & athletic so I don t understand why he does this. What could be the cause of this extreme overheating and what should we do about it? Thank you, Sarah

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello
i read your question and can understand your concern
i would like to ask some more things
* is he also having blurred vision during such attacks?
*any family history of such attacks?
if i would be his treating doctor i would order his labs like complete blood count first and according to that CBC report would go for further investigation
because in my opinion and the symptoms he is having that could be "PLOYCYTHEMIA VERA"
So i would suggest that take him to pediatrician and do check with him
i hope my answer will satisfy you
good luck and tc
