Erectile dysfunction has not been reported to date with amlodipine or valsartan. In-fact valsartan (angiotensin receptor blocker) itself can help to improve ED. My advice is to get investigations done for the exact reason for erectile dysfunction. There are many causes for ED like-
-Heart disease and narrowing of blood vessels
-Diabetes
-High blood pressure
-High cholesterol
-Obesity and metabolic syndrome
-Parkinson's disease
-Multiple sclerosis
You have to consult a physician to rule out it.

The blood pressure lowering medications such as amlodipine or valsartan is less likely to cause sexual side effects such as erectile dysfunction. Uncontrolled hypertension can be a cause of erectile dysfunction.

Viagra (Sildenafil) is effective in the treatment of erectile dysfunction so it may take as prescribed. However, you should not take along with the blood pressure lowering medications at the same time as it can add to the blood pressure-lowering effect of Amlodipine.

You should contact your doctor if you experience signs and symptoms of low blood pressure such as dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, or a rapid pulse or heart rate. You may be more likely to experience these problems at the beginning of treatment, following a dose increase, or when treatment restarted after an interruption.
