What Causes Episodes Of Sharp Pain In Chest?

I have been having a sharp pain in my chest coming and going all day lasting anywhere fron 30 seconds to 3 minutes. I am 43 year old female with PVCs and a mytrol value prolapse. Last week I had a electrical sensation go up my breast bone and down both arms. I also suffer from anxeity

I can understand your concern.
Since you are having PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) and MVP (mitral valve prolapse), we should definitely rule out heart diseases first for your chest pain.
So get done ecg, 2d echo, stress test and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of ecg).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes uncontrolled stress and anxiety can also cause similar kind of chest pain.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on it's solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, you will be alright. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. First rule out heart diseases.
