I am 36 years old and four months ago started having what are now diagnosed as epileptic seizures. I have suffered from migraines for many years and was told this may be the source but have yet to get a definitive answer as to the cause. I am 5 weeks seizure free, on meds. Could it be that I never get a clear answer as to the cause?
migrain is not a cause for seizures but it may be an association. we call it migralepsy. to find the cause first we have to classify and typify seizure episodes. Get MRI brain 3T with epilepsy protocol and EEG done.
