What Causes Enlarged Tonsils In A Child?

my 6 year old has had enlarged tonsils for 2 years now, no reason for it. she complains of pain while swallowing. she snores and has just had her only infection 5 days ago. talked to ENT last year and this year. this year they are bigger touching the uvula.

Tonsils infection are quite common in children and with age these infections will become less frequent.This happens because of there low immunity ( developing and not developed immunity )

There is no need to worry for this. Consult doctor whenever this happens and he shall give medicines accordingly. If the frequency of attack is 5 or more than 5 per year then Surgical removal of tonsils has to be considered.
