Cardiologist 's  Response
hi,
now there are two possibilities one since you already have sarcoid, it may be due to sarcoidosis affecting heart. You mentioned patient is on treatment for hypertension and diabetes, so it's possible that patient has blockages in heart leading to enlargement.
So she should undergo mri heart and if needed heart biopsy and then treatment for sarcoidosis otherwise it's a progressive disease. Also she ll angiography for knowing blockages. so do visit local cardiologist and get back if you have any questions.
I find this answer helpful
