What Causes Elevation In The GGT Level After A Knee Surgery?

My ggt level was recently tested and the result was 190. The previous test result was 140-i had just had knee surgery and was on Percocet. The most recent result (190) was two weeks after the first test. I was off Percocet and zero alcohol and my numbers still went up. Tested for hepatitis and was negative. Overall in good health and can t figure out why my ggt level are so high. I m getting tested again next month. Can the effects of anesthesia be causing my elevated levels?
