Hi,

Flight travel should be avoided in case of low platelets. In case of high platelet count, you can travel if you do not have any recent bleeding problems. With regard to your cholesterol levels, dietary and lifestyle modification including physical exercise should be done to reduce the levels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
