What causes elevated liver enzymes?

Hi, I am 30 yrs female. Last november i went to gp for my toes cold blains like, gp gave me some blood test and results showed my liver enzymes were elevated. Some days later she asked me to do more blood test. I 2nd time do blood test in february and in results showed the liver enzymes are more increases . Total protein 89, globulin 46, ALP 173, ALT 146, gamma-gt 273. Along with hepatitis A IgG ab positive and other things are normal. Then gp refer me to a liver specialist but i get the appoi tment 2 months later. I am very tensed about if i have some serious disease , if my liver damaged or cancer .... Since some days i feel light pain in belly and always burning. I have much acidity problem since many yrs.

Don't worry. You might have hepatitis A infection, which is not much serious. You will be fine without treatment. Just take antacids for acidity and less fatty food.
