What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes While On Trazodone?

i am 48 no drinking or smoking. I do suffer from fibromyalgia for which i take trazadone. my liver enzymes (agpt) were 44 then a week later my Dr. redid the test and it was 20. What would make it go up and then be normal again? Should I be concerned? Cheryl

drugs may be hepatotoxic all drugs are metabolized through liver. variation in lab result can take place due to error. can always take second opinion. you can avoid drug which are hepatotoxic. can take liver stimulating drugs like livozyme.
