What Causes Elevated Levels Of ALT And AST In Blood?
Hi, I am a 28 year old female. Questioning my lab results. I'm pretty healthy and weght is 145. alt-high 74 and ast critically high 114. Negative for all hepatits. Dr. is ordering more blood work. What should be ordered in blood work also what else can cause these elevated levels

AST & ALT are the liver enzymes. They increased in any liver diseases. You should go for complete liver function test like protein, bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, GGT. You should also go for ultrasound abdomen. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
