General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

These findings could have many causes, including diseases affecting the bone marrow. However, if you haven't been drinking many fluids lately, I would suspect this could be from dehydration, which often does cause the blood counts to be increased (because the concentration goes up when there is less water in the body). I would suggest checking your blood again after you have hydrated well, and see if that makes a difference.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
