What Causes Elevated Eosinophil Counts?

If have an ensinophil absolute count of 1000plus but no allergies, this elevation occurred around the time my Xanax dosage was increased and 2 blood counts 9 months apart Show this elevation...all other counts are normal. Could the Xanax cause this elevation

Yes, it's true that there are certain drugs that can cause drug-induced eosinophilia characterized by increase count of eosinophils.

Sometimes, use of Xanax is also associated with increased eosinophil count, especially if depression or stress is also at high demand.

However, we should rule out other possible problems like intestinal parasites through stool examination for ova/parasites.
