Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that your blood pressure values are really high.

For this reason, I would recommend raise the dose of Hydrochlorothiazide and Lisinopril.

It is safe to take another half tablet of Hydrochlorothiazide and another tablet of Lisinopril.

I would also recommend consulting as soon as possible with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests to investigate for the possible causes of high blood pressure:

- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels
- PCR and ESR for inflammation.

If high blood pressure persist, despite increasing the dose of lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide, I would recommend adding new drugs in order to help manage your blood pressure values.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
