What Causes Elevated INR Levels While On Warfarin?
I have a prosthetic mitral valve and take warfarin just under 4 mg per day. Target INR 3.0 to 3.5 due to TIA occurrence. Recently my urologist started me on testosterone cypionate injections. 1.5 mg every three weeks. My INR is running too high. Injections effect constant or tapering between shots? I do test at home. I am not sure if I am looking at a constant or variable related to when I get a shot YYYY@YYYY Thanks

If INR is high, then Warfarin has to be stopped or dosage must be reduced. Testosterone does not cause elevated INR values.
