What Causes Elevated ESR Value?
Dear Doctor,
I had done my CBC test. All the values were within the normal range, except for my ESR. What is the cause of high ESR. I had done the same test 15 days back, that time my ESR was 10 only. Please let me know the reason

Raised ESR is the sign of an infection. It could be acute illness or chronic illness like tuberculosis. Clinical co-relation is required in such cases to confirm the diagnosis.
