What Causes Elevated AST And ALT Levels?

I am wondering as to the purity of Qualitest's generic Esgic as opposed to the Forest Esgic I have taken for years to help with my muscle contraction HA. I have had anterior cervical dysectomy C4-5,5-6. I take 3-4 5mg Oxycodone, Amrix 30mg, as well as other meds--no others contain acetaminophen.
My AST & Alt went from 29 and 33 to 54 and 56, since changing from the Brand to generic. Any thoughts?/ Yes I imbibed alcohol once to twice a week in both cases.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your AST and ALT level are slightly increased. AST and ALT are the liver enzymes and their level increased due to liver damage. Most common cause is alcohol. Since you are taking alcohol their level increased gradually. You should avoid alcohol. Go for ultrasound liver once. Continue your drugs as per advise.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
