What could it mean when you have very quick increase in you ALT from 11 to 132 and AST from 16 to 91 in only 1-1/2 weeks? All other labs were normal. And these have always been the same normal levels as well. As far as symptoms go, I ve been extremely nauseous, loss of appetite, right upper quadrant pain that has been there for many months, chronic fatigue, diarrhea, itching, bruise easily, swollen legs and ankles. And another weird symptom has been that when I attempted to take a sip of both a beer or a champagne on separate occasions it instantly knocked me out. So bad that my husband had to bring me and put me to bed. I do not drink but once a month maybe and if I do it s normally a beer or 2. I have not drank since July 23rd, this last lab was drawn on August 10th and the previous lab was drawn on July 27th. What could have caused the rapid increase in these enzymes as well as these symptoms?
