Hello,

The causes of pain below ribs are:

1. Sprain
2. Overuse
3. Injury
4. Blunt trauma
5. Cardiac failure
6. Renal failure
7. Long standing
8. Filariasis

For that, you can take tablet Lasix. Do x-ray chest, ECG, Coloure doppler of legs, LFT, RFT.

Treatment mainly depends upon underlying conditions. Kindly follow with detailed history or consult with physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
