What Causes Echoing Of Sound In Right Ear?

I all of the sudden have a robot/echo or like im talking in a fan, in my right ear. It does not hurt, but is aggravating. I dont know if it has to do with my server constipation. I haven't pooped in the weeks prior to a couple days ago when I started having severe symptoms. I am having extreme abdominal pain and cramps on and off throughout the day. Along with persistent home remedies, that are not helping. I really don't need all this stuff happening at once. Can you help me with my problems?

Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The robortic sound you mention in your query is not due to stomach problem . Usually this kind of sound occur when Eustachian tube (connect throat to middle ear and maintain the pressure of middle ear) get blocked due to upper respiratory track infection ,sinusitis or post nasal drip .

I would suggest you to to consult ENT specialist (ear ,nose ,throat) fpr proper examination and to rule out other condition like middle ear infection or air/water bubble in ear . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course or mucolytic agent like ambroxol.

For now do warm saline rinses several times a day ,give warm compresses to external ear because sometimes sound occur due to water drop in ear .

For constipation take some laxative like psyllium husk with warm water/warm milk sodium picosulfate solution. If condition persist then consult gastroentrologist .
