I bruise easily and my skin seems thin. when I accidentally hit something with my hand or arm my skin tears very easily. my mom had the same symptoms. I am 50 years old female and have spent a lot of time outside. have high blood pressure and have been on Prilosec for years. I do drink alcohol! (not good I know) what can you tell me about the skin thing?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have soft spot on the head along with headaches. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like age , sun exposure , applying excess corticosteroids or amyloidosis . Genetics also play role in skin texture quality. I would suggest you to protect your skin from direct sunlight , apply sunscreen while in exposure to sun, eat healthy and add fresh fruits and green vegetables in your diet and drink plenty of water . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may examine physically and order certain test . Doctor may prescribe vitamin supplement along with other treatment depending upon the diagnosis .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
