What Causes Early And Dark Brown Color Period?

Hello I am 33 years old mum and i had my menstruation two weeks ago.. this morning i start to have it again only very dark brown color. I`m very worried because it is 10 days early and even more for this dark brown color. I always had regular and corect menstruations. Thanks

Hello,

Irregular periods could be due to hormonal imbalance. Did you take any medication or are you under stress or weight gain or weight loss, as these are the common reasons for hormonal fluctuations. I would advice you to get an ultrasound done. Then we go about on how to treat this irregular menses. Could be just one episode, but important to get it checked. Also would advice to get thyroid hormone tested once.
