General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted a detailed history about a 30 year old female having had a flight and then developed earache, dizziness TM joint pain, sinusitis, treatment with Augmentin and Betaserc. Your history indicates that you have fluid built up in middle ear with inflammation of inner ear, sinusitis also. Hence I would advise you to first of all, consult an ENT Surgeon as you need a specific diagnosis and proper management to avoid further complications.

CT scan of the mastoids and sinuses, relevant tests of blood, all this will lead to a proper diagnosis. Take the medicines as advised as the treatment will be specific as per the cause found. Do not blow the nose. Do not instil anything in ears. Take rest. Avoid sudden temperature differences while moving.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
