Hello, You describe signs of a rapidly spreading infection. There is a risk to your entire body with a spreading infection.? It is best to see a doctor, determine the source and be placed on an antibiotic to help control the spread of the infection. You may get some relief from Antiinflammitory medications such as Tylenol or Advil. These do not help fight infection and only offer temporary relief for your symptoms. Severe swelling involving the throat can compromise breathing. From your description, I suspect ear or dental infections to be a source of your condition. If you feel considerably worse, visit an emergency room. Antibiotics can be prescribed and you will be referred to the appropriate physician. Thank you for your inquiry. Good luck and do not wait too long.
